Although I had faith in her diagnosis and skills, I did not find her a particularly warm person, lacking in "bedside manner ". I felt as though she was rushing and needs to show a little more interest in her patients.

I have been under the care of Dr. Hollingdale for the past four years receiving chemotherapy before my operations. I wanted to know everything about the stages of my cancer, even the worst case scenario. Dr Hollingdale was very candid and honest about my situation and gave me confidence to face the future with optimism. She has always been very caring and understanding, answering my many questions with the complete truth. Seeing the same consultant every time I have had an appointment is much better than having different ones. I feel that Dr Hollingdale has got to know me as a person as well as a patient and I know I can confide in her all my worst fears that come with cancer. I feel very fortunate to be under her treatment.

This Doctor has given me great care since I was referred to her in November 2014. She has explained every step of the process clearly detailing the options available. Dr Hollingdale is a credit to the hospital and the NHS in general. The treatment by her and her team has been second to none. I think the only improvement needed is not in her personally but the department is very busy and somehow more time is needed to make it more efficient and less stressful on patients and staff.

Dr Hollingdale has been very supportive throughout the two years I have been seeing her - she appears very competent and is invariably upbeat about treatments on offer. She is obviously a busy person and therefore reviews can sometimes appear to be a little rushed - just a little more relaxed time might be beneficial both to her and the patient.
